NEWS: Janet Jackson Reveals Her Lingerie

After conquering the world of music, acting and dancing, Janet Jackson is ready to make her debut as a designer with the launch of her own lingerie line.

According to Access Hollywood, the pop icon partnered with Australian fashion designer, Bruno Schiavi to create her collection titled, Pleasure Principle - inspired by her 1987 hit of the same name.

“The collection has been carefully created with some of the finest laces from around the world,” Jackson said. “You will see a lot of satin and lace combined and rich colors…It makes you feel incredible and offers variety as diverse as the women who will wear it.”

“Janet and I wanted to create a collection that empowers women and that makes women feel sexy, flirtatious and provocative,” Schiavi added.

The union will mark the pair’s first domestic line as they hope to have the product available in American stores in November 2008 and in Australia, Japan and Europe thereafter.
