Yes the calendar is in english. Maybe its written in Japanese to appeal to the Japan audience seeing as Michael has always been popular there. It could be on sale in the Japanese stores. I have not seen this calendar in the shops and I got my copy online. Just a pity its not widely available.

Now, from this year, they don't have the possibility to print photos unpublished before, so they've published old pictures or some edited pictures, like the one of April.
In the back of the calendar there are all the pictures and there is also a spot to advertise the unofficial book "Thriller 25" (that isn't sold in shops...).
Don't throw your money to profeeters who exploit the MJ's name to make money.
At least, this is what I think.

PS: I had to tell you that before...

the company doesn't have to be a mj company, they just need to get the licensing rights from michael's company, triumph international inc. (or mj licensing llc for europe). ml publishing group is a company that sells all kinds of calendars, books, and merchandising products, but they got the official license, that's why it's written on the book for instance "printed under license".
the same goes with the hot toys figures. hot toys sells all kinds of figures about movie/comics characters or actors/singers, but for each figure created, they need to obtain licensing rights from companies directly related to these movies, comics, actors and singers.
both the calendar and the book are official and released in full collaboration with michael jackson and sony-bmg.
