I dont know how to swim so unfortunately I dont go swimming. I remember i had a chance to learn when i was in my teens but i was too shy to reveal my swimsuit to the boys in the class. It was a mixed school so i went orienteering instead.

I can't swim, I sink like axe :blush :lol And usually I don't go in water cause it's cold and I hate cold. If it's hot I go to water and I love splashing or whatever it's called. So I don't know what to choose :confused lol

i remember going splashing in the water on summer holidays our family would go to the nearest beech (40 mins away) we would stay there for a week or 2. Got some pics at home of my family on those holidays. I learned a little bit on how to swim then but I forget. I think I was alot braver then I am now :blush

I'm a water beast B)

When I was young I loved swimming (still do). My mom has told me that it was hard to get me out of the water after I got there :lol I didn't care if it was little bit cold, I went there anyway. The earliest time I've went to dip myself was in the middle of may (I was 16), partly because I was some sort of a "guard" in children's summer camp.
I voted for anywhere, although I haven't tried to swim in the river... yet.

I voted for the sea all the way :yeah :yeah :yeah

I've tried to swim in a lake, but I didn't like it very much :no

a pool is ok, but only when there's no sea, or the sea is really bad where I am

I've never tried a river though

it's always been hard to get me out of the water too (it's still hard lol), because I adore the sea

when I'm inside water, I forget all about time, until I start feeling really cold :cold

in lakes there's too much sand, and also it's more difficult to swim, because the water isn't salty

I like salty water best

in rivers swimming must be very dangerous, because the river isn't steady

I think lakes are quite boring

pools are ok, and I think they are the best for someone who wants to practice swimming, before using something more unpredictable ;)

you can swim ;) you go down because you're afraid

if you could do it as a child, why not now too? ;)

if you want to practice and learn swimming, you won't go in deep and open sea, and you won't go alone :)

trust the water and trust your body :) if you do it, you surely can swim :)

Lakes boring? I don't like seas that much just because of the salt they have in them. When you dive (and I love to dive) or swim in general, you get tons of salty water in to your mouth :puke
And because the water in lakes isn't salty your swimming skills become better when you have to try harder not to sink, imo :)

I have only tried one lake, so maybe the specific lake wasn't pleasant :) I don't know

that one had extremely much sand, with a dark colour, that didn't really make me feel like swimming :no

There has always been sand in every lake I've seen, except the one that had little rocks. Well, the sand is better than mud...
