King of Pop: Michael Jackson's family not seeking restitution from Conrad Murray

The world watched in September of last year when the Conrad Murray trial began. On November 7, 2011, the jury found Conrad Murray guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of the legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Judge Michael Pastor gave Conrad Murray the maximum sentence of four years. According to a new report, the Jackson family will reportedly not be seeking restitution from Conrad Murray.

As TMZ reports, prosecutors will allegedly no longer seek restitution of over $100 million dollars from Conrad Murray. Murray is currently serving his sentence, and it remains to be seen how long that will actually be.

The fans around the world were shocked by Michael Jackson's passing on June 25, 2009, and he is missed to this day. He remains one of the most popular artists of all-time, and it is clear that his music will live on forever, and he will continue to inspire new generations of fans.

I agree that they shouldn't seek for money over the death of Michael

this case shouldn't be about the money, but about justice

seeking money would give a different meaning in this trial, in my opinion
