Lately I have started to read Jermaines book. I am nearly finished it. In it he talks about the song he sang called 'Word To The Badd' it wasn't written by him but by La Reid and Babyface. But the words did speak out to Jermaine at the time because he couldn't get in touch with Michael. His minders were keeping Michael further and further away from his family. No one could get in touch with him. This annoyed Jermaine so he recorded this song but never wanted it released. But in the end it was leaked and Michael heard it and wasn't very happy. Jermaine confronted Michael about it and he thumped the desk saying that Michael should keep in touch with the family. But Michael didn't like this thump and Jermaine could see the sadness in his eyes so he said sorry. Then Michael said something funny to Jermaine. He told him that he looked funny arguing and that made them both laugh again like they used to do when they were kids. BTW Michael called Jermaine 'Erms'

From what I've read the song is recorded by Jermaine and produced by La Reid and Babyface. When Michael and Jermaine met, Michael was hurt but Jermaine refused to say sorry. They were talking with Katherine about it. Since Jermaine was lying before he could also lie now so I don't really believe him. He could probably just take aay guild from himself and and wants to come clean.

He describes the whole conversation in the book. Although some of it could be peppered with half truths. From what I gathered he wanted to get attention from Michael and so did the producers LA Reid & Babyface. Jermaine never apologised but both brothers forgave each other towards the end of the arguement. I will write the piece about the conversation.

'I sang it when I was upset, but those lyrics dont reflect how I feel about you and you know it,' I said.
you put your voice to those lyrics,'he said, forcing hos point home. I could see in his eyes how hurt he was, and it killed me, knowing that I was responsible. 'I'm sorry I hurt you,'I said. My betryal acknowledged, I tried to explain how I had reached out to him numerous times, leaving messages, and how fustrating it felt. Like the King Tut movie idea you ignored...'

I dont know anything about a King Tut movie,'he said, looking genuinely surprised. 'I didnt get any of those messages.'

Dosent that tell you something? That the people around you are not passing on messages from us!' I said, feeling agitated all over again, renewing my suspicion that our messsages were being filtered by his gatekeepers. Michael promised to look into it.

But that still dosent excuse how much time you let pass during those eight years', I reminded him, If we're going to do this, lets bring it all out, I thought.

Michael went into a long winded justification, saying it wasnt deliberate, he was just busy. There had been alot of travelling and touring, and recirdubg abd sgiitung videos. he went on and on with what I considered to be rationalising.

Eventually I had heard enough. 'BUT MICHAEL, WE'RE YOUR FAMILY! You;ve GOT to make time for family' I yelled, and in a fit of fustration, I slammed my fist on the coffee-table. The cups and saucers jumped on the silver tray and Michael almost lept out of his skin. There was something so timid and fragile about him, so easily startled, that I felt bad for raising my voice. I'm sorry, I said. 'I didnt mean to make you jump.'

He then smiled 'look at your face,' he said, and then he started to laugh. 'You're so uptight!'. as kids we laughed nervously in the most serious of situations and Michael's chuckling made me laugh now. With that everyone relaxed. Everything that he seemed serious now seemed silly and pointless and we wrapped up the big talk by mutually accepting the fault. We both stood, gave each other the biggest hug and said 'I love you,' almost in Unison.

Somehow when Jermaine or others made sex with girls in the same room where their younger brother were pretending to be asleep, they didn't think about family. If you don't feel happy with so called family then you try to get away from them. There is some members of my family too who I don't want to see ever again or else I'm going to scratch their eyes out. Michael could also lie about not receiving any messages. Wel know Michael didn't want to see them. He talked with Katherine only.

Yes I know how familys can be but it also can be annoying when you are trying to contact a brother, sister or parent and they dont contact back. Some people dont like that and in Jermaines case was very annoyed with it. Also growing up the Jackson family were so close there brothers were there best friends. But when they went off to do there own thing the family split up and werent as close as before. This is where problems began.

Although I do think Michaels gatekeepers were keeping things from him.

After that arguement Michael did go to Family Days and visited his family more often. So maybe he was busy and didnt realise that the family needed him so much.

Yes, if I am correct then it was in the beginning of 90s, right? There was a lot of things in Michael's mind. One of them were drug problems and other that Jordan Chandler. I also believe that there were some things that was kept away from Michael. I've read it in Conspiracy book where Debbie Rowe told it he believed ppl around Michael wasn't truthful and kept things away from Michael.

Jermaine talks about it being 8 years since the Victory Tour because that was the last time they spoke so I am guessing that tour was in 1984 so it could have been around 1991 or 1992. The next chapter I am reading is on the allegations. I will post more about it soon. Katherine also talks about the people that were surrounding Michael in the Icon DVD and she didnt think they were honest people. Michael told her my people are good people.

I remember reading about this. Jermaine claimed that he sang that song and it was released so that MJ could/would hear it. He wanted MJ to call him. The following morning when the song was released, MJ went to the Encino home and along with Katherine confronted Jermaine about the song. MJ told Jermaine (this is not a quote)...This song will not hurt me, it will hurt you. They did end up hugging and apologizing, but it was also stated that after that song...MJ did forgive him but never wanted anything to do with Jermaine and he never wanted anything to do with Latoya because of her accusations on TV about him. Although the story changes here and there, I get the general gist of what happened.

I bet it deeply hurt Michael.

he did forget LaToya thought. I think it was during the trial when she was taken home from Gordon. She told when Michael saw her he hugged her and the first thing he said was that she doesn't need to apology, he knew it was not her talking, it's her husband. I don't think I would have forgive but when I saw Michael's children with her, I believed he really forgave her cause otherway he wouldn't let children walk with her.

The difference between Jermaine and LaToya was that LaToya was forced to go against Michael, while Jermaine wanted that.

There has to be a reason why Michael avoided Jermaine in the first place. If Jermaine didn't like something, he should take of his problems inside her family and do not go in public with them. Michael never acted so low and Jermaine.
