Dave Grohl reveals he doesn't actually appear on Michael Jackson's LP 'Michael'

Rocker says he's unhappy that he's credited on the album as his drum parts weren't used

Foo Fighters mainman Dave Grohl has revealed that he was annoyed at being named as one of the contributors to Michael Jackson's posthumous album 'Michael' as he doesn't actually appear on it.

Grohl was credited as appearing alongside Lenny Kravitz on a track titled '(I Can't Make It) Another Day' on the 2010 album, but told Red Bulletin that despite being listed in the sleeve notes, his drumming does not feature on the album.

He said: "That was messed up actually. Lenny Kravitz – who I only met once – called and asked if I want to play drums on a track. I said, 'Sure', played drums on it and I never heard from them again. On the sleeve notes it says 'Michael Jackson featuring Lenny Kravtiz and Dave Grohl' but they didn’t use any of my recordings. That’s not cool."

Grohl, who is currently touring North America with the Foo Fighters, recently temporarily joined Cage The Elephant as their touring drummer after the band's regular sticksman Jared Champion fell ill.
