I met with some fans we went to Tullamore its a small town outside Dublin and its where Michael visited with his kids in 2006. He went to KFC, got a chinese take away, played bowling here once with his children but also his children were in the kiddies area about 3 times. We think he was living close by that time. The bowling place is in a quite business park not in th emain street of the town but a long way outside of it.

When we got to Tullamore at 4pm we werent too sure where the bowling place was we asked directions and was told it was only 20 mins walk. So decided not to take a taxi. But it turned out to be about 30 or 40 mins walk :rolleyes. We were all tired when we got there. Many of us were taking photos of the outside.

We went in and the guy behind the counter showed us the shows Michael wore. They were a size 8 and we all tried them but the guy behind the counter thought we were crazy trying them on :lol. They dont get any MJ fans coming here.

So we all played bowling it was 25 euros for an hour game and we had a lot of fun. We go some food there as well. We also noticed a picture behind the counter of Michael and they had Rest In Peace King of Pop written on it.

By the time we left it was 7pm and we got a taxi then to the train station. But it only cost 2 euros per person for the taxi which was great. Usually in Dublin its more expensive.

At 9pm we wre back in Dublin some were goin on to a bar where they were playinb music in a private function room but I didnt go to that as I was very tired from all the travelling that day.

I must say I was very emotional yesterday I had a headache all day and goign online all I could see was messages about Michael and I couldnt take it. I was glad to be spending the day with fans. Sadly we didnt do the balloon releasing they didnt get them in time and there was some confusion about that bit. Anyway the day went off well and I am glad I went.

BTW most fans here are passive and dont meet often also they dont want to get to know other fans. I was telling one fan that I seen Michael in concert many times and they didnt like me talking aobut that. Maybe they got jealous but whatever it was they didnt want to hear about it. Often fans would like to hear those things.

Some pics below of what we did yeaterday :)

On this video you can see where I went and where Michael played the bowling with his kids. He was in this area once but the children were in the kiddies area 3 times so we think that he lived nearby because the location of the bowling alley is very much hidden away from the public roads its in an Industrial Estate.

I am just thoughtful and emotional since yesterday. Excuse me :( It's such a difficult time cause you start to think how it was when Michael was alive. And you start to miss those times. Not only Michael as a singer but Michael as the one who bonded ppl, who united them and Michael as the healer. Escpecially when you start to think about fans you knew for many years but who didn't come.

Yesterday we visited a club where we celebrated his birthday last year. The owner is a fan as long as I am and he is about our age. We were dancing to Michael's music for about 2 hours till midnight when we had to left to let out the flying lanterns around Michael's passing time. The last songs that we choose to play was Man In The Mirror and Heal The World. We stood in the circle hugging each other while singing along the song. While listening to the song I had tears in my eyes cause right in that moment I was hurt about Michael's passing cause of the world not cause of myself. Cause there is no Michael who would heal the world, who would tell ppl to change and how important that is.

We also visited Zoo before which was nice cause there were lost of animal babies. After club we went to the centre where near the river we let out the flying lanterms with our messages to Michael and lighted candles.

In all, it is as hard as it was last year. 1 year didn't made any difference. It hurts as much.

I forgot to mention that also one fan from Berlin who used to live in Latvia came to the event as well. She is my age and she's fan about as long as I am. She was telling about events that happens in Germany. They always make some excuse to get together and they also have big events and fans are active. That is something that we can't get in Latvia cause our fans are passive. She is also dancing in one fan dance group and they are traveling around Germany with their acts. The money they get they donate to charities. She also showed me some moves as well that we recorded on the video as well in the park.

I didn't do much. They had Michael day on TV here. But only old shows. So I had seen them before.

I don't understand why we should celebrate his death.

I think celebration is more for American fans (celebration of life). I think about it as remembering event. Event in Memory of. That's why I didn't make anything big for fans. There were fans who wanted some big party. I said parties is for birthday.

Sharon, everybody is allowed to try the shoes? I thought they are behind the glass :)

Still if you were around 10 then you were more than we were.

I just see people wanting to dress up. Wanting to give a show. Again take advantage of Michael to further their own career. This is about forest lawn too.
And you go to disco to dance. It doesn't sound like mourning to me.
But of course it's a special day and might be easier to get fans together.

I don't like ppl dressing up as Michael cause they are losing their own identity.

About the dancing. I didn't include the dance in the club in my event. Other girls wanted to go the club before releasing lanterns and lighting candles so I had to go with them. I said to them that I feel more like crying than cheering in this day. But girls, especially the one from Berlin, wanted to dance cause they also have this thought that his life needs to be celebrated.

Yes. We can always celebrate his life.
And everything shouldn't be just sad. So it's probably ok to include a little celebration.

I wanted to say that I printed out Michael's pic fast after Zoo visit when I run home to get lanterns and candles. I tried to come up with some pic and writing fat and I didn't notice I mixed up the birth of the year. So the date stated 29.08.2958.-25.06.2009.

We were joking if he can walk backwards then he also can live backwards. He is The King and can do everything :giggle

Later I fixed the date with the felt tip pen.

The shoes are on the top of the shelf where all the bowling shoes are kept. Here is a pic of that

If you look closly the pic on the bottom right corner is from the CCTV footage of when MJ visited the bowling place. Its also a very bowling alley it wasnt very busy for a saturday. Maybe thats why MJ played there. He liked his privacy. Also he played on lane 4 whihc was the same lane that I played on, One thing I didnt like was that they didnt play MJ music for us which was a pity really.

I didn't do anything special of 25th June

I was in an mj party in a club in Athens on the 24th June, where people were listening to Michael and dancing, and they had red and white heart-shaped balloons

it was nothing so special, really, there's a greek mj fan club that makes often parties like that, and always in the same club...

it's a club that plays a lot of Michael always, even when there's not any mj event

maybe the owner is a fan, I don't know...

the only thing extra was the balloons

I always (well in 2 latest years) try to make 25th June event from birthday party very different. Birthday party is more about fun and celebration.

Not everybody cant wear those shoes they are on a block on wood :lol. But they are on display and they took them down so we could look at them. Actually the guy working there wasnt so interested in them. I think he thought we were crazy trying them on. What I nticed about this plac is they werent advertising the fact that Michael was there. I thought that someone so famous going there didnt seem to be that interesting to them. But then again in Ireland we are not that huge into celebrities and if they visit we let them do there own thing.

I think it's also a good thing :) But I imagine if Michael would be in my club or whatever, I would frame everything he has touched :lol
