in 3rd May I am going to have the first birthday party since my dad died 14 years ago. So I am planing some games to make it all interesting. I have few in mind but I wanted to know if you know some fun games :)

The ones I know and will have at the party is....

Introducing game.

Ppl have to be on pairs with somebody they don't know. They have 5 mins to tell some facts about themselves. After 5 mins they tell to everybody what they found out about the person they have paired.

Charades.

I think it's called like that in English. It's different in Latvian. There are two teams. Somebody for team 1st have to come in front of their team and take a paper with a word on it from game host. In 1 minute they have to show the word without any sounds, just with their body and their team have to guess the word. If they have guessed in 15 secs, they get 15 points. The other team does the same. The winner team is the one having less scores :)

Questions and answers.

You write down random questions and the same number with random answers. Ppl take out one random question without looking and telling to which person he's going to ask the question. The named person then takes out answer without looking. Both persons read loud question first and then answer. The answers usually is so funny together with the question. Like "Will you be my gf/ bf?", Answer: "No cause my dog hasn't peed today yet" lol

Usually at Irish birthday parties there is a lot of drinking going on and not much time for games at all. But sometimes in college I notice fun competitions going on to win prizes. Like putting a cloth over an item and getting people to guess what it is.

Two weeks ago in college they played a game called Blind Mans Bluff. They did a world record attempt at this last week. In the game they put a blind fold over a person then spin him around a few times. The other players, who are not blindfolded, amuse themselves by calling out to the “blind man” and dodging away from him. A player touched or caught by the blind man takes on the blindfold, although sometimes the blind man must guess the identity of his captive before the blindfold is removed (if the guess is wrong, the captive is released and the game continues).

All the games you mention is considered kids games here. I remember some of them from the kinder garten :)

Do your friends not know each other already?

Last game I saw at a party was a list of tasks to do. People were in teams and competing. Solving riddles or throwing stuff outside.
But yeah. That might be considered a kids game too :)

Oh its a kids game here too. But in college they done this game for fun and also to raise money for a Cancer charity. They were also trying to get the world record attempt and needed 800 people to take part. Police were there to count how many people attended and then someone from Guinness World Records was there to see if they broke the record and they did :yeah. They often do a world record attempt this time of year.

Truth or Dare is a good game but I dont know if you want to do that one at your party. :dontknow

Oh, then it's different if you do it in public. Different if you do it in home party, not that funny. Besides we don't have much space.

No, I don't like that game cause usually the questions is nasty and dare is stupid.
