yes, I can, I know this language since childhood 
They are playing mommy and daddy. Daddy is the one with one sock. He came home close to the morning. Mommy is asking daddy where has he been. Daddy is either saying he doesn't understand the question and laughing or he is making up some excuses - like he didn't have a sock so he couldn't come home earlier (you can see when he says it he even holds the sockless leg)
