Steven Tyler is one of the few performers whose live songs are not worse than studio version ....aerosmith has something... idk, i mean, they're in their 60's and they still got it, even steven still has his voice, it's amazing u know, after 40 years of abuse...

They are ok, but I don't think they are the best rock band :)

And he do ok live.

By the way I do like him as a judge in the new American Idol.

Metallica is heavy metal and not rock.

I wouldn't call Metallica heavy metal :) Maybe they were heavy metal when they appeared cause it was hard back then, but not anymore.

I've seen just one episode of American Idol with him as a judge. He didn't speak there other than yes or no.

I don't see it as being personal.
Everybody has their own opinions.

I don't like them very much. They have maybe a few good songs. But that's it for me.

Maybe they have changed. But still their old music is there :)

Ok. Usually he speaks a lot and sings and other things. He is kind of funny in there.

they also have change, everybody changes. But also other music changes and styles changes as well. I mean the way how they are based in styles. New harder bands come so they are more heavy than Metallica so that's why I don't count them as heavy metal. There are groups that are heavier than them.

Ok, I wouldn't know that. We don't have new season and I don't follow them on YouTube :)

Then lets call it hard rock :)
But just because some people choose to make even harder rock doesn't mean everyone less hard will change category :)

No. It doesn't. Instead they add an even harder category. They don't change the existent categories.

I also like Metallica a lot

many people think that Metallica belong in Heavy Metal category, and also many other people think that Metallica belong in Hard Rock category

I like their music either way :)

I like Aerosmith too :)

I like first Come Together with Aerosmith, second Come Together with Michael Jackson, and third Come Together with Beatles

I don't know why, maybe I like more the hard side of this song, that is performed by Aerosmoth :)

I like Dont Want To Miss A Thing by Aerosmith and Whiskey in the Jar by Metallica although I watched the original of this being performed recently and it was amazing the original member of the bad is in his 60s now but boy he still has it.
