I heard one of Michael's beefs with his dad was that he felt he was never good enough for him or maybe Joe didn't praise him for his efforts or acknowledge his accomplishments enough. He just wanted his dad to pat him on the shoulder kind of thing and say "I'm really proud of you" or something. Its what I read from a quote MJ was saying a while ago but its just based on what I read.


But Hitting the kid when he makes a mistake in his dance moves,... not right... i suggested that He should really spend a day watching all of theese videos, where Michael talks about how he beat them.!!!

There was one quote of Michael’s that the interviewer asked Joe about, where Michael said (quoting interviewer)

“Talent is something God gives to a performer, but my father taught us how to cultivate it” . . .


the resulting smile on Joe’s face and look of shock, “where did you get that? I never heard that before!” gave me the impression that there were some good things Michael said about his father that his father didn’t know about. I have to admit that I smiled at Joe’s reaction and he became at that moment, just a little more human to me.






I wonder what Joe Jackson thinks of AEG and Sony…oops, I mean Branca, estate executor teaming up to pay for Michael’s memorial to the tune of $1.3 million? AEG was under no obligation to do this. I wonder if this was hush money, or if AEG just chalked it up to cost of production?

I would like everyone to keep one thing in mind . . . For the millions of fans who are missing Michael and wish things could have been different, there is probably no one who wishes this more than Michael’s father. ....

he never admits he was beating him. I think he refers it as slapping (oh, it is snap in video). His dad used to beat him as well so he apparently thought it's ok for dad to abuse children.

Jermaine is better singer than Michael??? Joe, have you actually heard Michael singing? or maybe he is confusing Jermaine with Michael Tell me, Joe, how many Number 1 hits and albums Jermaine had? lol I think every non fan could tell at least one Michael's song while they couldn't tell any of Jermaine's. Some of them would probably also asked who the hell is Jermaine (at least in Latvia).

Would he still be alive if Joe would be in Michael's life? Ok, then where were you, Joe? And why were you out of his life? What made you to be out of his life? What made Michael keep Joe away from him? If my father would abuse me and treat me like that I probably also wouldn't be close to him and would talk only when I would be obligated. That's a very interesting thing to claim that he still would be alive.

As for Omar. I've seen this part before. Joe just don't have an idea what he is talking about and I don't even understand why he is saying that But Omar has denied the rumors.

yes, I know if there would be no Joe then we also wouldn't know Michael but there are things that was really not needed to make Michael a successful singer. Such as sleeping with other woman, calling on Father Day just to borrow money, making fun of Michael's looks, scaring his children in the middle of the night and other things.

Didn't California pay for memorial? Or was it funeral?

As I heard Joe also blamed AEG and he also said Michael up for 10 concerts, not 50. So I guess he doesn't believes// likes AEG. But Katherine sued then on behalf of herself and Michael's children. I don't remember if Joe sued as well.

Joe`s talking style is really black-style. I think no Jackson has it that much. I caught myself thinking about Michael`s "Bad" video when listening to Joe`s voice.
