I know some of you know The Muppets very well. So what would you suggest me to get to watch? :) I know almost nothing from them. I may be seen just few episodes, 2-3... We didn't The Muppets or Fraggles. But we had The Muppets cartoons for some while.

I've got the first two seasons of the Muppet Show on DVD, watch that, it's funny (even if you're like me and don't know some of the guest stars). As for films, anything of theirs until Muppets From Space is good, anything after that isn't so good. Films are: The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, The Muppets Take Manhattan, Muppet Treasure Island and Muppets From Space. My favourite is Treasure Island, it's very funny. Also good is Muppet Classic Theater/Muppet Fairy Tales, it was a video release so I don't know if it will be easy to find. If you can't find it I can help with it, just let me know. I've just found the Muppets official youtube channel, they can still make some funny stuff. :lol As for the muppets themselves, any of the Swedish Chef clips and anything with Animal in it are some of the funniest, along with Fozzie (with Statler and Waldorf, the two old men at the end of most of the clips on the youtube channel).

I remember those two old men. They always were sitting on the balcony of theeatre during the episodes I have seen :D

Thank you for those! I should look for them :D

I always were wondering... I know they had lots of starts, right? Why we never seen Michael in there? I think he would love that and I also think it would be great to see as well :)

I don't know why Michael didn't star in one of the Muppets' shows. The original show was filmed in England so anyone who appeared in it had to film there, and stay there for rehearsals and recording before filming. Maybe if Michael was asked, he might not have had the time to do it with a busy schedule. I suppose the only people who would know would be staff working for him at that time, or later on, if he was asked to do it or not.

In the same time he appeared in The Simpsons and even change his name in their credits. I really don't know how does it work. But I sure would have loved to see him in more places. In the same time he was artist working more on his own.

The show you're thinking about was in the 90s, the original muppets TV show was in the 70s. For the Simpsons Michael needed was to record his parts in a studio, it could have been done anywhere. I suppose it was easier to do than the longer time needed for the muppets. Michael was very famous in the 70s and 90s, he just might not have had enough time with tours, recording etc.

Yeah, the Muppets are that old, even though the show started just before I was born I grew up watching it and the films, they were HUGE here. I even had a kermit soft toy for a long time. Now though, I prefer Animal:

Also, the films Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal starred many puppets made by Jim Henson's company.

I think this is from Muppets Tonight, the 90s show. You should watch it before watching Muppets From Space because some of the new characters from this show appear in the film.

One of Animal's best clips.

Swedish Chef makes chocolate mousse haha, one of his best.

Swedish Chef and chicken recipe goes wrong and they end up chasing each other through the rest of the show.

Pigs In Space is good too.

This is one of my favourites.

So cute :wub

I love the song Mahnahmahnah i even have it as a ringtone on my phone. The series was shown here every saturday night in th e70s or so and then they started them back again in the 90s'. The original creator died some years ago but his son still keeps them going. Michael was on sesame street though I think that was a spin off series from the Muppets. Someone posted it on my Facebook page I will post it in another part of the forum.

All the films I posted above are released on DVD, I have most of them. The Muppet Show seems to have Season 1, 2 and 3 sets released on region 2 DVDs, however I have seen a pic of a Season 4 set, it might only be an American release. I think the show had 5 seasons, so more should be released. I haven't seen anything of Muppets Tonight, the one from the 90s released anywhere, but you could probably find downloads of it.
