I could let you know about 2 good features that is now in this version. Both are very good for editing pics/ making graphics.
One is Content-Aware Fill. Let's say you have beautiful autumn landscape and there are some ppl sitting that is damaging the view lol You can take this tool and just take them out just by painting over them
It takes just 1 sec. Or let's say you have a zit in your pic and you can drag over the zit and woala, it's gone 
Other tool is new feature in selection feature. Let's say you want to cut out somebody's portret and add it on another background. You always have problems with cutting the hair part as there could be hair strands that makes you problems cutting so it would look natural. Usually it takes time. Now you can do it with just few seconds
I used this took in my siggy, btw 
One more tool that I haven't tried yet but I am sure I will. I love it! It's called Puppet Warp. You click the icon and it wraps your object and you can lean it as you like. Let's say you have a broken flower that is hanging on the right side. With this tool you can make it straight again

If you get CS5 then I suggest you to get CS5 Extended cause it also has 3D features. I don't know them but I've seen it in my courses. I couldn't get Extended in my comp yet.
