Those will be web designing courses. It will last 6 months. two times a week. Today we had first meeting where we agreed on days and time.

The courses is in 3 parts. First is introduction with web tehnology and we will have a test and will get a part for it. The second is web designing where we will learn different graphic programs (including Photoshop lol), totally 6 programs. We would need to make our own site design for the site teacher will give us, as far as I understood. We will get mark about it as well. And third part is where we will learn to code the site with CSS, html etc... We will not get mark for that but we will either pass it or not pass it.

They said they will also give lots of homeworks :o

There, I think I said it all.

I was waiting for these courses for long, since March.

And today I also subscribed to another courses about Corel Draw (2 months) but they said to not wait it sooner than next year lol It's all government paid, so I guess it's hard to get in.

Well done is your studies Mag :). This is so funny because I am also doing a Web Design Course as part of the subjects I will be covering this semester. We will be using Adobe Dreamweaver to create a website and then we will be publishing it onto the internet. We will be using MS Access as well as part of the Database for the website. The website is 50% and the Access part is also 50%. They will ask us to choose our own type of website so I am hoping to do one on Michael :). I know nothing about web design etc so this is all new to me.

this sounds very interesting :)

I have worked both with dreamweaver and access :)

I think dreamweaver is fun :) but Frontpage is also very good for creating websites :)

today it was the first lecture. I feel smart there lol In the beginning we had to tell what are our relationships with internet. Everybody said they maybe download some movies or google something and I think I was the only one who has more knowlege. I said I am in the net daily and I have a forum, but most technical stuff are done by another guy (I mentioned Nik :P lol). The guy (btw, he's handsome :whistling about my age maybe ) were telling us about the history. Then he started to tell what is IP, what is html, ftp etc... Sometimes I was a little bit bored cause he was explaining it and others asked questions and I got bored lol But there were things I didn't know, some small things, like I didn't know that IP now starting from Windows Vista also is made from 6 blocks and it contains not only from number but also from letters.

we are the world :lol

the guy said we are. In Vista and W 7 it's a possibility to use. Maybe most of the world doesn't use it cause they already have IPs but they have started to give out IPv6 since Vista appeared.

Yes. They are prepared for IPv6, but the internet is not :)
We are running out of free IPs, so we need to change soon.

I am also doing a webdesign course and we did a tutorial on friday. The tutor was telling the basics about website made up of numbers etc. Then he started talking about Flash videos and said that the videos You Tube hosts are very expensive so in future if you want to view videos people will have to pay extra money just for that. Cant wait to start making a website it will be interesting.
