I wonder what is in this book is it just filled with pictures that we have seen a 100 times already

it will be a book of 136 pages.

it will contains interviews of Quincy Jones, Rod Temperton, John Landis, Ola Ray, Tamara Conniff Matt Forger and Bruce Swedien.

it will also contain 180 HQ pics.

there will be an english version, a german version, and possibly a french one.

it will be released on 23rd june in france, but i don't know about other countries.

I doubt I will buy it cause of high inflation in Latvia (it's the most highest in EU I think). But if I would have some spare money who know... maybe I could buy it

I just ordered both the book and the calendar. I dont know why i bought both i think it was on impulse : I cant wait to see the calendar. I love the pic on the cover.

Somewhere seems that have been told that this book isn't really an official product...
There is the logo of Sony, but Sony shouldn't have the book in his list of official products that is going to sell. At the end, 'cause it shouldn't be an official product, the date of release change and maybe it will never be sell in shops or in official websites. The ML Publishing (that shouldn't be affiliated at MJ) could sell the just printed copies of the book only on e-bay to make more money it can...

You don't know nothing about these things?

Well if its not official then I wont be buying it. So I have decided to cancel my order of that item. Auctually I kind of thought it wouldn't come out due to the fact it has been put off and that the release date has changed so many times. Also if its not official then the book is worthless and is just liek any othe rbook out there

Monday, January 27th 2009

Today we had the chance to speak with Mr. Wiesner, after having made him aware of certain statements coming from an Italian MJ forum owner.

Dieter Wiesner made absolutely clear that the book "Thriller 25" did not come from MJ Licensing and neither did he have anything to do with it.

Yes, Michael and Dieter have confronted each other in court and settled the case. Mr. Wiesner commented that with the words: "At that time there was just no other way of getting Michael's attention. He was being shrouded from everything and everyone."

That, as we all know, is something that several other people around Michael have said in the past too. Dieter Wiesner, who was Michael's manager during the HIStory and Invincible eras, added, that they had settled on good terms. The King of Pop and he continue to have a friendly relationship. Mr. Wiesner has visited Michael recently and they remain in good contact.

We asked Mr. Wiesner: "Seeing as you have all the merchandising rights - you can basically publish anything you want with Michael's name on it, right?" To this, surprisingly to us, Mr. Wiesner answered: "No."

Michael's ex-manager then explained to us that Michael has received back all of his merchandise rights. That is what made it possible for Michael to have the "Thriller 25" book published - amongst other items.

Finally Mr. Wiesner added that Michael is in great shape. He is healthy and doing well. The headlines announcing his allegedly bad health are nothing but idle gossip.

I don't remember how much it costed

I have received and paid it sometime ago

I bought it along with other stuff, so I don't remember prices per item

Marker, thank you for posting pics! I love the pics in the book especially those on the whole pages If I would have a job I would consider of buying it myself. How much did it cost for you? Did you get it from Amazon? And seems like there is lots of text. What is it written about? Yes, about Thriller but is there something interesting?
