I have only heard one entry and that is the Irish one. I was watching the night they picked it. The lady who is singing is called Niamh Kavanagh and she won the Eurovision contest in 1993 with a song called In Your Eyes. This time she is doing a song called It's For You. Here it is:
They Lyrics are:
Look into these eyes,
hold onto these hands,
believe in this heartbeat
Though you’re afraid
that I might break,
just hold on
Shadows only haunt you
when darkness crowds your heart
So let the light of my love shine bright
When I cry, it’s for the lonely
When I pray, it’s for the lost and stray
When I love like there’s no tomorrow
No more words to say, it’s for you
Look straight ahead, hold onto you dreams,
believe in this magic
Open your eyes,
open your mind and it’s there
Shadows only haunt you
when darkness crowds your heart
So let the light of my love shine bright
When I cry, it’s for the lonely
When I pray, it’s for the lost and stray
When I love like there’s no tomorrow
No more words to say
When shadows haunt you
and darkness crowds your heart
Let the light of my love shine bright
When I cry, it’s for the lonely
When I pray, it’s for the lost and stray
When I love like there’s no tomorrow
No more words to say, it’s for you
It’s for you
It’s for you
I think it's not fair for singers whoalready participate (whatever they won or not) to enter again. The same Russia did it as well with Dima Bilan who won in the second year.

why is that not fair? They are allowed to enter again if they want to. Also its not new for Ireland to send a contestent twice. We sent Johnny Logan twice and he won both times. I seen the German entry its good . Lativan song is very good too

y6es, I know it happened before but it doesn't change that I think it's not fair lol I know it's not singer's contest but song contest but singers also affects the song and votes as well. So it's kind a not fair to send the same singers many times. Besides it's giving opportunity for new singers. In Latvia the singers who participated in Eurovision in past are not taking a part in national contest as singers (few takes part as song writers) cause they already achieved what they went for - to go to final. If they are in the last place why should they try again? If they are in first places they achieved and gained popularity for themselves so they are giving opportunity for others
Does Opaa mean something in Greek? If not then, nothing personal, but I don't like songs where lyrics consist from Baby Baby or Na Na or La La or something that doesn't mean anything. It's even more terrible when song title doesn't have a meaning. The person who write songs like these don't have anything else to say so then why write at all?
I also didn't like Island's song. The woman's voice is great and strong but music is so terrible. I don't like club music. Where the real music has gone? Didn't they have instruments or they are that expensive that they can't allow to get them?
But it's my own personal view based on my personal music taste
Latvia didn't get in, so then I guess I will have one free evening when finals will happen

yes, of course it does
actually almost all greeks use that word
it's an exclamation word which we use when we dance, when we celebrate, and when we're having a good time
well, it's a word which we use in many occasion, to express joy
I was really surprised that we sent a greek song to eurovision a really greek song both the music and the lyrics are very greek
