Janet Jackson Rocks Super Short Hair: Love It or Hate It?



Bye-bye long, wavy tresses! Janet Jackson was snapped out and about in London yesterday sporting super short hair, making her the latest A-lister to join the increasingly long list of celebrities who are foregoing their long locks in favor of boyish crops. The iconic performer debuted the gelled-back look while dining in the British city, where she is on hand to promote her latest film, Why Did I Get Married, Too? While Janet’s had a few modish bobs in the past, we’ve never seen her go quite this short or boyish. And though the new look is a far cry from the natural curls and shoulder-length styles that she’s been rocking recently, we aren’t opposed to the singer’s new low-maintenance style.

Oh, let me tell U, I saw the pic yesterday and well at first my reaction was like what? OMG, that's short and ugly, but after all I just don't like the hair style, but she still has a very pretty face. Now though she looks far more like Jermaine than MJ. So, I don't like it, but she dosn't look too bad with it.

Maybe Janet always had her hair short and was wearing weaves/wigs. I hear that coloured women often wear weaves/wigs. I heard that recently when I was watching Oprah and they were taking about hair.

Yea I agree, and this is the pic. I first saw. I first thought the pic on the left side was the new haircut and then I looked to the right and was like ooh. I'm sure though she want keep it for long though. I still don't think though that she's ugly, she has a pretty face.

I found out today that Janet cut her hair for the new film that she is starring in its called Colour Girls she mentions her hair in this clip at 6.20
