Janet Jackson on Lady Gaga: ‘She’s a Sweetheart’

Singer/actress Janet Jackson sat down and spoke with actor, director, author and screenwriter Tyler Perry recently, and one subject that was spoken about was Lady Gaga. Janet decided to share her thoughts, on the singer who always appears to be in the news in some way.

According to a recent report at rightcelebrity.com, the sister of the late Michael Jackson apparently met Lady Gaga once, and was pleasantly surprised by the singer’s personality and says she has really come to appreciate her. However, Janet did admit to being worried about her.

Speaking about the 23-year old star, Janet said “I really love Gaga, yeah, and she’s a sweetheart.” She continued on to explain how enjoyable it was to meet her. There was only one negative comment about Lady Gaga within the interview, and that was that Lady Gaga works so hard.

Janet said that she feels Gaga needs to slow down just a little, and take some time out for herself. And apparently, this isn’t the first time that someone has showed concern over the eccentric singer’s well-being. Last month she appeared unsteady on stage in New Zealand.
