Janet Jackson talks about Michael’s death on ‘Oprah’
Yes, I do,” said Janet Jackson when asked if she blames Dr. Conrad Murray for the death of her brother, Michael Jackson, on Friday’s Oprah.
Jackson discussed how she felt about Dr. Murray, the man who has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in her brother’s death, saying he was the one administering the drug, “from what I do know.”
The Jackson family knew that Michael had a problem before his death. They tried intervening many times, but “Michael was very much in denial,” she said.
“She also said that the King of Pop’s kids are doing “okay” in the aftermath of their iconic dad’s death: “They’re dealing with it. And thank God they have their family,” she said, according to MSN.com.
After Janet’s segment, Tyler Perry joined the two and discussed his new movie, Why Did I Get Married Too?
Tyler said that he had to change the ending of the film because “there was something that happened [in the script] where [Janet] had to speak at a funeral,” he said. Tyler explained that he was protective of Janet during the shooting of the film.
Why Did I Get Married Too? came out Friday, April 2.
