I don't understand this. You change yourself just cause it was written somewhere light skin is better. That's stupid :o
when I watched it I couldnt believe someone would do something so stupid. But in some cultures the idea of beauty is different and that is what they are trying to show in the prog.

Right, but not really good.
Those girls will have serious skin problems... but in some countries, as you said, they don't have the same culture about beauty as ours.
... In Europe we have similar problem, 'notice. We don't have that much ladies to bleach, but the ones round want to be flat as boards.
It's as silly as those girl in Asia, finally... I can't understand neither them nor ours.
People have to accept themselves as they are... I know it's difficult. I don't like my physical appearance too (the boy on my avatar is me.. ) but there is more to live than this, no?
Looking like a bimbo is useless...

Yes, in some cultures. But they are who they are. I know some countries like Spain, Turkey etc.. they like blond girls. But it doesn't mean their own girls should become blond and light skinned. I think that would look ugly. Just like Geoffrey said.

They don't know the risks they take when they do this, as they maybe don't have enough culture to know it . No, not maybe, more than surely.
They see girls on frontcovers, tall and slim, white. The problem comes from that, not only in Europe... european culture is everywhere almost.
