This Is It DVD Signing
There will be a signing at HMV in Oxford Street, London this Sunday.
Kenny Ortega, Travis Payne and TII dancers will be there from 10pm this Sunday where TII dancers will perform routines from TII.
Kenny and Travis will meet fans and sign DVDs from 11pm.

To help celebrate the release of ‘Michael Jackson’s This Is It’ on DVD and Blu-ray™, HMV and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment launch a very special midnight signing event with guests, director Kenny Ortega and choreographer Travis Payne at HMV’s flagship Oxford Street store in London’s West End on Sunday 21st February 2010.
The event kicks off at 10 pm with dancers performing the routines from the ‘This Is It’ show. At 11pm-midnight Kenny Ortega, Travis Payne and the ‘This Is It’ dancers will meet fans and sign copies of the DVD and Blu-ray which are officially released on Monday 22nd February.
‘This Is It’ was a planned series of fifty concerts by Michael Jackson to be held at The O2 arena in London. They were scheduled to begin in July 2009 and continue through March 2010. Jackson officially announced the concerts at a press conference held inside The O2 arena. AEG Live, the concert promoters, released a promotional video that took up an entire commercial break, setting a record for ITV. The shows were to be Jackson’s first major series of concerts since the ‘HIStory World Tour’ finished in 1997, and had been cited as one of the year’s most important musical events. Over one million people would have attended in total.
‘Michael Jackson’s This Is It’ directed by Kenny Ortega, documents Michael Jackson’s rehearsals and preparation for the series of concerts. The film is now the highest grossing concert movie and documentary in the history of cinema.

I feel that too and all the others who worked on the concert director, choreographer, dancers etc are all taking the credit.

He did it once with invincible, yes.. But that statistic is really bad. The chance for him to do it again is/was really slim.
I think it's great that people get the chance to meet the dancers and other people. And not just because Michael is dead. It would still be good even if he was alive.
I don't blame them for taking the credits. I see them doing a good job for the fans and not just for themselves.

do you remember any Michael's tour where dancers and director is traveling around to take part in events? I haven't been there for all tours. I've been there in HIStory tour and I don't remember that. So the statistics is ever worse It was all about Michael back then.
I am not mad at dancers or Ortega. As you said they're doing a great job. But Michael was leading all their great jobs more than less. I am more sad that he is not there with them. Not for this particular events. But in events in general when I hear them happen. I am just sad Michael don't have a chance to be there.

Yes. Probably there wouldn't be anything if he was still alive.
I don't mind it though.
And as this situation would have never happened if he was alive it's not easy to compare.

I think you already know I would swap with situations. It's better Michael to be alive and don't have these events as the situation now.

About 500 fans crammed into the HMV store at the stroke of midnight for the release of Michael Jackson's This Is It DVD.
They were also treated to a dance routine led by Travis Payne, the choreographer for the singer's last planned concerts, which were to have taken place at the O2 arena.
Jackson died 18 days before the first of the 50 dates. The film, showing the rehearsals and preparation for the show, is the highest grossing concert documentary ever.
