Barbara didn't disappoint me, her words were full of respect. Maybe she would have spoken only about Michael (and already, she spoke about him a lot!), but as she said - on that show they honor only the living...
I don't know if people were voting for those personalities or that was her personal choice, but I don't think she meant to draw some special attention to herself or the children. No matter what they become, no matter what they do in the life, they will always be regarded as "Michael's children", so - the point of particular interest.
On the other hand, it depends on how people interpret the word "FASCINATING"...
Synonyms for "fascinating":
interesting, alluring, bewitching, captivating, compelling, charismatic, enchanting, engaging, engrossing, exciting, enthralling, entrancing, gripping, intriguing, irresistible, ravishing, riveting, seductive, absorbing, riveting, attractive

yes but the question is why they are in the top. She was respectful, yes, but it's not what I am talking about.

Because she finds them fascinating!

They weren't fascinating previous year but now, since their dad died they suddenly became fascinating? I do love them and they are great. But it just seems that they are in the top just cause paparazzi are following them more than before. Or that they are not available to public. Or maybe that everything about Michael became modern now.

Now, when Michael is gone, paparazzi have lost a great source of income. And they've found a new one - his children. He was really protecting and hiding them from society's attention; the people with whom they are now seem less strict. Moreover, Prince, Paris and Blanket are growing fast, so they become more "public"...

Of course they're in vogue! Michael's death revived his popularity, we have already talked about that...

Well at least they talk positive about them!
