Whitney Houston Sings MITM and pays Tribute at her Concert


Whitney Houston took "Man In The Mirror" to church last night in Russia and then gave a heartfelt speech about her dear friend Michael.

Whitney sang "Man in the Mirror' then a bit of 'Never can say goodbye' and 'Missing You' before giving a speach in which she asked the crowd to applaud Michael for giving 5 decades of his life to music and for us all. She then went straight into "I Will Always Love You" in which she broke down in tears.

Whitney Houston, who looked up to Michael Jackson as a forerunner of music in her career said that it was hard to express in words what Jackson meant to her. He was my friend. He was one of the reasons I got into the music business.

He inspired me. He taught me. He laughed with me. He paved the way for African American artists to be played on MTV which was huge. My heart is full of grief for his family and his children and I pray that they take solace in the incredible legacy of his music and art.

Wow, thank you so much for this. It really moved me!! I think it is so important for great artists like her, to express what Michael really did. He really DID change things. And artists like Whitney actually knew him. Not haters who read magazines. Hopefully ppl listen to artists like this. I think it is truely amazing. I love her for this. And it really came right from her heart. Gosh, I'm such a crybaby But really thank you for posting this, I didn't know about it.

5 decades of his life. It's not all. All his life was 5 decades. He gave up his life to entertain ppl.
