Since we can chit chat about other things except for Michael I would like to know if you like the Sims 2 game.
I'm a big fan of the game since it came out in 2000 from the Sims 1 to the Sims 2 and currently waiting for the Sims 3 which looks awesome.
As you all my think, I have added Michael in the game with a whole collection of MJ outfits, beddings, paintings and have even created a radio station called MJTunes in the game so that I can listen to Michael when I turn on the stereo. I have added MJ channels on TV as well. Not to forget, he is my husband of course and we have 6 children and expecting the 7th! :hot :yeah

I am playing Sims Castaway at the moment. I am totally addicted to it. Every evening when I come home from work I play it and I even play it before going to bed at night. It is the first Sims I ever bought after Mag recommended it to me. I am 65% through the game at the moment. I cant understand why it took Mag 3 days to finish cause I am at it over a month now . Apparently the Sims games are more popular among women then men ;) . I read that in the paper a few weeks back :D.

The game is more popular among women because it has to do with living everyday life in simulation instead of killing. It's a complete stressless and joyful game and above all you can marry anyone you like (like me marrying Michael) and have lots of fun by creating houses, having pets, cars, going vacation, having children, going to college, getting old and eventually die!

Yes, I finished Castaway in about 3 days I think. Those were holidays though. I love Sims and I can't wait till Sims 3 will come out :wild It's too bad you can't play Sims online, imagine a huge party we would make :wild

Unfortunatelu I don't have a time to play my Sims anymore :( But I loved how they made those seasons and pets :D

I find while playing the Sims that it gets highly addictive and then when I achieve something it feels worth while. I cant wait until the end as I hear they all meet up with each other. I find it funny when my Sim made a toy out of a false pair of teach some vines and a plank of wood then when the Sim played with it she was talking to it lol :lmao:

I have started playing my Sims 2 again

but it's been a long time since I last played with it, so there's things I don't remember so well

can you help me?

how can I add money to my families?

is there a way to pause my characters, so that they don't grow old, when I am not playing them?

how can I add new clothes and items?

how can I change their hairstyle etc?

you need to work to get money :P

You can't get them away from aging but you can collect liftime or something reward and buy some liquid that will make you younger. You can drink 3 times from it and after you would need to buy a new one. That is in Sims 2. But in Sims 3 you can turn off aging and your charahters will not get old but if you want to make children you need to turn it on again.

I don't think they get older when you're not playing with them. Never happened for me.

Officially you can buy clothes in the store inside the game for similions. But you can also google some Sims sites, they offer files to download. You can find there clothes and hairstyles too. But I don't remember how to add them, you would need to read instructions in those sites :)

I've just started playing Sims 2. I wanted to try it after having quite a few problems with the last expansion for Sims 3. Wow, I love the interactions between the sims in this, and I can understand why people don't like 3, because the interactions in it are hard work (with couples) and a bit boring. I made a sim in 2, and took her on vacation, and it was interesting. She learned a fire dance and dove into the pool. All the animations were so well done, I don't understand why they didn't keep some of them for 3.
