Earlier fans were not happy This Is It will not be released as single. I am not sure if they still the same though. But I don't think I would want it to be released in single. Cause it's demo and we all know Michael was perfectionist and he didn't release songs till he was pleased with them. He even didn't want to release tours cause he, what I've heard, weren't happy enough about them. So I think it's the same also about demo songs.

This Is It is not good enough to do justice to MJ's legacy. His records from Off The Wall to Invincible were fantastic. I guess there's money to be made by releasing old demos refashioned as brand new material, as is being done with Tupac's music, but this will hurt MJ's already great music catalogue. For example I think it was a mistake for the Beatles to put out Free As A Bird and Real Love; but not the Anthology outtakes themselves.
Another problem I see coming is that these old demos will be released in dribs and drabs to maximise income. Like the way This Is It is being used to flog YET ANOTHER Michael Jackson compilation.

Here where most of fans are divided. We want new material but the same time we know they are using us to milk Michael
