I had that problem when trying to choose new glasses last week. My mother, who helped me (or tried to) and the woman in the shop kept saying to me 'try these, they look nice on you' but when I looked in the mirror they made me look old. They kept saying the style was popular and for younger people, but on me they were awful. I don't know how they thought they looked nice

it's very difficult to choose glasses  I also went to a shop last week to buy a new pair  I only liked the very expensive ones, that I couldn't buy :cryin:

finally I bought a black pair, although the girl in the shop and my mother prefered green colour or pink colour better

I know what you mean, my mother and the woman in the shop kept trying to get me to buy one of the really expensive designer ones, but they were all horrible, especially the colours - one brown pair, some with bright orange, bright green... ugh. I wouldn't pay that much money for something that looks awful.

I went to the Opticians only recently with my mum cause she needed a new pair since December she broke the other ones. Anyway i went there and i was looking around at the glasses most of them are very similar, Although i noted while being there that if you go for the expensive ones they are all square shaped and not round or oval. To me those ones dont look nice at all. Anyway my mum got a nice pair with some nice detail long the sides.

Looks nice. I haven't been to a market in a long time, we used to go to ones when we lived in Dublin.

Ok, I chose glasses yesterday.

Nik's sisters boyfriend works at an optician and he showed me some glasses that I totally loved. Much better than the DG ones as I can buy other sides to put on :D

here they are:

They still cost EUR 800 but I love them and I want them :D

Going back friday for another eye test. My left eye is strange so he wanted to double check something.
