2004 - Santa Barbara County Sheriff Jim Anderson filed a motion that requested to publicize the findings of the investigation into allegations that Michael Jackson had been "manhandled" after being arrested for investigation of child molestation. The request was rejected.

2004 - Michael Jackson, and five of his siblings, attended the first day of a hearing in which Jackson's attorney questioned Santa Barbara County District Attorney Tom Sneddon. The questions related to a November 2003 search warrant of the office of a private investigator that had been hired by Jackson's former attorney.

2004 - Superior Court Judge Rodney Melville ruled that police did have "probable cause" that Michael Jackson had committed a crime when they searched his Neverland ranch in November 2003.

2004 - It was reported that Michael Jackson had requested the opportunity to make a public statement about the California attorney general's conclusion that Jackson was not mistreated as he had claimed when he surrendered to authorities on November 20, 2003.
2010 - Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's personal physician, posted a one-minute video on YouTube. He said "I have done all I could do" and "I told the truth, and I have faith the truth will prevail."
