Ok, next level - Twilight :lol

My first work of Twilight for now. It's not capture from movie, the image was in my mind thinking about meadow scene in the book. I admit, it turned out to be little bit too sunny but let's pretend Forks had this extra sunny day :whistling lol

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f257/magicsart/Computer_art/twilight_meadow_smaller.jpg

Scene and characters, Edward and Bella, from Twilight book but their image is taken from actors in Twilight movie.

It took some time as all the image was in my head and I had to make it to look more realistic. Done in Corel Painter, Photoshop with Wacom tablet. :)

Started in the end of March, finished yesterday, 3rd April. Pencils used: HB, B and 2B

I like the second drawing better than the first one :)

I don't know why, but I've been always more attracted to drawings by pencil :)

In DeviantArt everyone is favorating the first meadow scene like crazy lol I have never had so much favs in the period od 2 days lol That could be cause no one liked meadow scene in the movie, ppl said they like how I made it, it should have been in the movie like that. Even the poses is the same as in the book.

Pencil drawings is harder to make. Digital you always can go back and fix. Drawings there is nothing much you can fix can by using eraser you can spoil everything just by 1 action. I myself think there is something wrong with his right eye (from his point of view) and lips :confused

I don't see anything wrong with his eyes, nor with his lips

when I visited you and you showed me drawings, I loved each and every drawing you showed me with pencil :luv

actually I think you're very good in this :flowers

in general, I've liked all the drawings you've made with pencil :D

I also adore the drawing of Harry Potter you've made about a year ago :luv

Somebody stop me :wild Here's another one :P Blame Zoi, she inspired me to do some pencil drawing :P :whistling

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f257/magicsart/Computer_art/robert_drawing_smaller.jpg

If I will work more on it, I think I am gonna destroy it completely. So I stopped working on it :giggle

I wanted to do a close up drawing since I realized I haven't done them so much, even more not lately. Anyway, I think it's one of the best I did. Well I wanted to be one of the best, worked hard on details.

I've used lots of pencils for this one lol Let's see... Mechanical 0.5mm and common pencils HB, B and 2B.

It just depends what do you understand with professional :giggle I don't think I could draw something that moves though lol I am still learning with every work I do. I do some tests to see what works and what doesn't. Also with this work I used different pencils to see how does it work.

Still original looks better. Printer does something weird with my drawings lol

You know how it is. Sometimes you see some picture and you think "I definitely should draw this!!!" This happened with me and this pic. In the beginning I was thinking to paint it digitally. But I realized it looks pretty much like digital/ photoshoped/ like not alive already, which is ok cause Edward shouldn't be alive anyway lol So I decided to draw it on paper instead.

This was my pain in the ass seriously cause I run out of paper I used to use for drawing so I had to buy a new paper. The paper is soooo different! I couldn't get darker/ kind a closer to the black color I wanted to, the paper just won't take it. And in the end pencil started to smear everything around. All my hands and face were dirty after drawing lol I had to make sure I am not toucking the drawing to not smear it off lol I don't want that to happen again. I will not draw anything till I get different paper. I giess... :unsure

this guy in this drawing looks scary :scared

this is also a very nice drawing, although, as I understand, the paper wasn't very helpful :flowers

and I have more :yeah It's fun to draw some great body :hot

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f257/magicsart/Computer_art/newmoon_edward_small.jpg
I didn't plan to do this actually. I just liked the body :hot :lol and after reading some New Moon filming news I decided to look for the future and do something about New Moon so I started to draw this one.

While I was drawing I had a thought I had to do a mix up version with Bella but it was already too late cause I was already finishing ^. So I decided to do Bella as well and later to mix it up in the comp.

Here's Bella's version:
http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f257/magicsart/Computer_art/newmoon_bella_small.jpg

And mix up version between both later mixed up in PS:
http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f257/magicsart/Computer_art/newmoon_both_small.jpg

The next time I am doing New Moon I am doing my own read version of New Moon poster cause I think Edward is the one going away and Bella staying :)

Yes, I have few Faber Castell pencils, precisely 3 - HB, B and 2B. But I don't think that's so important, I mean the firm. All what matters is graphite that is inside it, I buy it separately of course. I use 0.5mm mechanical pencils.

Some time also I used only mechanical pencils for drawing but with every work I do, I try to learn somethig new so I started to use also many common pencils.

Right now I wanna buy eraser pencil. I haven't seen it in Latvia and also it's not on ebay much :o The only I found is from USA and it's expensive!
