you're right, but you have to follow what she says because if you stop for a second and think about something else you then look like O_o

Yes, Val. You have to think about language plus think about accent. That's why I like American English better than British English, cause it's more easier to understand.

no, they have British accent. When I met my British friend,I had to get to use to how he talks, I had problems understanding cause I mostly heard American English on TV, movies etc. Now I am am used to his accent.

Although she is Scottish and that is very difficult to understand and they have there own language as well. Also if you ever go to Scotland you won't understand a word of what they are saying in certain areas like Aberdeen. Even for me if would be difficult my brother worked there and he found it hard to understand them. I can understand that lady because I am used to listening to the accent. Sean Connery talks like this.

I remember once I was in some chat with audio sound. Somebody came in and started talking. I thought the guy is talking Italian. My English friend said it's English even then I couldn't understand what he said lol

BTW if you say to a scottish person that they are british they would get offended

really? why? i wouldn't XD

anyway yes, at first it is complicated to understand english accent.. when i went to London in October i remember during the flight.. i could hardly understand something XD then you get used to it.. and at the end of the holiday i talked like that.. it was soooo strange XD
