Coolio has suggested that Michael Jackson's drop in popularity may have been a reason for La Toya's eviction from the house.
He, Ulrika and Verne were discussing the possible reasons why the singer and Tommy were the housemates booted out in the surprise double eviction from Big Brother.
Coolio said: "My personal opinion is this. Lots of people don't like Michael Jackson no more."
Ulrika responded that her opinion on La Toya was in no way shaped by her feelings about Michael.
Terry, Coolio, Verne, and Ulrika then discussed Michael Jackson's troubles, which resulted in Verne shaking his head repeatedly.
Coolio said: "I don't think he ever hurt a child."
Verne agreed: "I don't think so either. It all got blown out of proportion."
Coolio claimed: "In my opinion, that had something to do with her departure. Combined with the fact that she wasn't really vocal."
However, Verne pointed out a possible problem with Coolio's theory. He noted the success of Michael's brother Jermaine in Celebrity Big Brother 5, where he finished runner-up.
Coolio said: "He was one of the Five though. La Toya's not Janet. I mean it's a whole different thing."
Verne replied: "It doesn't matter, it's the same family.
"
Coolio also speculated that Tommy was not popular with "older people who support the capitalist way of life", though Ulrika suspected that the politician lost out as he was not suited to a light entertainment environment.
