Paul Mooney
http://www.cracked.com/article_15336_chapp...aul-mooney.html

You say in your act that you think Michael Jackson is innocent. What makes you so certain about that?

Because I've known Michael since he was about eight years old"¦. From my experience with him, that' too normal. He' on The X-Files. Seriously, he' out there. And from my experience, he' a check-writer. He thinks that money can just cure anything-if he gave something enough money, it could go away.

I talked about him once on The Arsenio Hall Show. I was opening for Eddie Murphy on the Raw tour. Michael was calling me, and I thought it was Eddie, because Eddie can do impressions. I kept telling Eddie to stop calling me as Michael Jackson, and Eddie convinced me that, "it' not me, Paul, it' probably him." So I talked about Michael [on Arsenio], and I swear to you, he offered me money. That' what I'm talking about. He' a check-writer. So"¦I thought, if somebody was around Michael and they knew that he was a check-writer, they would get money from him.

Flo Rida :

Flo Rida 'wouldn't be here' without Jackson
Monday, March 16 2009, 12:16pm EDT
By Alex Fletcher, Senior Entertainment Reporter

Flo Rida has claimed that his music career "probably wouldn't have happened" without Michael Jackson.

The 'Right Round' rapper said that he wasn't surprised by Jackson's sell-out shows at London's O2 arena, describing the veteran popstar as a "big inspiration".

"Had Michael not broken the barriers it probably wouldn't have happened for guys such as myself," he told the Daily Star.

"Both Akon and Ne-Yo feature on my new album and you wouldn't have any of us without Michael. African-American history was massively changed by Michael as a person, never mind his music, which broke records and took videos to the next level after 'Thriller'."

He continued: "All over the world he is known and loved on such a massive level, so to see that as a young guy it changed my life....His songs are so emotional and he is a great attribute to music."

Hi and welcome to the forum :xhello

I agree, Stevie Wonder not only supported Michael but helped Michael to grow as musician, he taught a lot. I always mention that Michael wanted to know how the songs is being written for J5 but none of them allowed him to see the process. There were just one song after another they got without know how they are created. Stevie was the first who allowed Michael to see it is action. Michael owed him :)

And I am glad they did duets :) I would wish some slow song. Stevie is great with them :)

Yea. I already knew about that. Hehe! BTW thank you for the welcome to the forum there! I wish they made a video together of at least one of the songs they did together. The only thing I can watch w/them both together is We Are The World. I am both a BIG MJ and Stevie fan! So I do know a lot about them both. I heard Stevie in a recent interview saying they were good friends but when the interviewer said close friends..well..that's when he said they were good friends. So guess according to Stevie they weren't close but good friends. They probably didn't talk much and/or hang out much due to their busy schedules and stuff.

I am not fan of Stevie but I definitely admire him. I remember I loved For Your Love song for years when I was little, and I didn't know who sings it. I think I found out when I've seen the video. It's my fav song from him :)
