No word if they were celebrating anyone's unbirthday.

Few people were invited into the carefully guarded world of the King of Pop, but the bodyguards hired to protect Michael Jackson and his children are speaking out on the financial and emotional troubles that plagued the late entertainer.
Watch the full exclusive interview Tuesday on "Good Morning America."

"We were asked to leave hotels because the credit card on file was denied," bodyguard Bill Whitfield told "Good Morning America" in an exclusive interview to air Tuesday.

"The bill wasn't paid," bodyguard Mike Garcia added.

"We smile about it," Whitfield said, "but it's really more painful and hurtful."

Jackson, who died June 25 after taking a lethal cocktail of prescription drugs and propofol, a powerful anesthetic typically used in the operating room, could also fly into rages, belying the soft-spoken demeanor he showed in public.

"He got so frustrated he threw my cell phone out the window, through the window and broke the glass," Whitfield said. "And he looked at me and said, 'Bill, you're going to need a new phone."

The bodyguards were also charged with protecting Jackson and his children from seeing images of the pop icon that were splashed across the front of magazines.

"I'll be ahead of him, because I know he's coming this way, and I'm looking at magazine racks that may have something about him on them and I'll turn it around," Whitfield said. "Sometimes he's seen them, and you would actually see him take it and turn them around so the kids didn't see them."

Jackson was weeks away from staging a comeback tour in London before he died. He had been struggling for years with his finances and his public image. In his later years, he became less known for his music and talent than for his flamboyant spending habits and his reclusive behavior.

Michael Jackson's former nutritionist and nurse Cherilyn Lee may no longer be employed with the family, but that doesn't mean there are hard feelings.

In fact, Lee told spoke to E! News at Friday's MMPA Oscar Week Student Filmmakers Luncheon and had nothing but glowing things to say about Prince, Paris and Blanket.

"The kids are wonderful. They're very intelligent, they're very alert, they speak more than one language," she said. "They're well-disciplined children. They're very loving, well-adjusted kids."

Lee, who still "communicates" with the Jacksons, told E! News the children are doing well after the loss of their father, due in large part to their expansive support system. "For any child losing a parent is very difficult, but they have a strong family and they have their cousins. They're actually doing great."

And while she couldn't comment on that stun gun story from earlier this week, Lee said with a laugh, "All I can say is that boys will be boys."

Lee also believes that matriarch Katherine Jackson is "most definitely" the best possible guardian for the three children, and sees big things in their future. "They're very creative children. They have that from their father," she said. "Whatever they do is going to be very special."

Jermaine Jackson has trying to gather an all-star cast to pay tribute to his late brother Michael Jackson at a show in June in London.

The Tribute By Jermaine show is expected to take place on June 8, 2010 at Wembley Arena in London.

As Jermaine said when he was in Australia a few weeks ago, Janet Jackson will take her brother Michael's place and perform with the Jackson 5.

“The best way and most suitable way is to assemble the world's largest tribute in history that is only fitting to a man who moved the hearts and souls of an unimaginable amount,” Jermaine said in a statement.

The show will be filmed is expected to air globally soon after the event.

Armed LAPD officers swarmed around the Jackson Estate tonight on foot and in the air, but it turned out to be much ado about nothing -- the perfect ending to a crazy week at the Encino home.



Around 9:00 PM PT, at least five officers entered through the front gate of the compound with shotguns drawn -- while an LAPD chopper circled overhead. Cops tell us they were responding to a burglary in progress call.

But everything was fine once they got on the grounds. We're told the emergency call -- which came from outside the house -- was a false alarm.

No word on exactly which Jacksons were home during the raid.

L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services investigators have been at the Jackson home all week over that whole stun gun thing with Jermaine's son Jaafar.

Jermaine Jackson's 13-year-old son, Jaafar, ordered the stun gun online that triggered a visit from the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services last night ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story that DCFS came to the Jackson family house in Encino last night at around 10:30 after someone told them that Jaafar ordered the gun. Randy Jackson tells TMZ the gun was delivered to the house 3 weeks ago -- but was intercepted by security.

Katherine Jackson's lawyer, Adam Streisand, tells TMZ Katherine took control of the gun and locked it up. We're told DCFS took the gun away last night.

Streisand tells TMZ two people from DCFS conducted interviews last night at the house. They spoke with Katherine and some of the children. Michael Jackson's three kids live at the home, along with some of their cousins.

Both Randy and Streisand tell TMZ none of the children ever got hold of the gun.

As we first reported, DCFS is coming back today to conduct further interviews.
