On Monday, 13 June 2005, Michael Jackson was totally acquitted on his child molestation trial. It was a day of agony and relief for him, his family, his friends and all his fans around the world.When the verdict of the trial was announced, and NOT GUILTY’s were released, thousands of people around the earth were moved by these two simple, but also so meaningful words.

After a marathon of suffering and allegations, the truth was revealed. The innocent and childlike heart of a man came in contrast with the lie. No evidence was presented that any of the claims of the accusers could be true, while the mother of the accuser admitted she had lied under oath in her previous lawsuit. The court redressed the justice and the truth. Just few days after the trial, Michael Jackson sent a message to all his fans around the world:


Without God, my children, my family and you, my fans, I could not have made it through. Your love, support and loyalty made it all possible.You were there when I really needed you. I will never forget you. Your ever-present love held me, dried my tears, and carried me through.I will treasure your devotion and support forever. You are my inspiration.

That day is not to be remembered as a day of happiness; that day is not to be remembered as a day of lament; that day is meant to be remembered as a day of justice.It was a day that brought in our eyes tears, tears of agony, and tears of happiness. This trial revealed the truth,redressed justice, but it also hurt Michael Jackson, and drove him to leave his country and his house behind, and travel to Bahrain for about a year.That day may remain in our memories for ever! We, the fans, may never forget it.
